Amy’s journey included devouring YouTube videos, audiobooks, and creative writing resources, leading her to write and refine her novel Razor Thin with the help of beta readers. The manuscript received praise, with feedback comparing it to best-selling novels.
As a child, Amy enjoyed series like The Babysitter’s Club and The Chronicles of Narnia. Her current favorites include psychological thrillers such as Big Little Lies and The Silent Patient. While writing the second book in the Razor Thin series, Amy enjoys family time at home in a quaint Wisconsin town, often snuggling with her dog Milly.

Randi Moxi is coming to Studio Moonfall’s Kenosha Book Festival 2024 on June 23rd and July 28th!
Randi Moxi grew up in an animal shelter in West Virginia that was run by her grandmother, Sally. She’s seen first hand how out of control the pet population is in America and asks that you please rescue and spay and neuter your pets. She hopes you treat all animals as the individuals they are and learn their preferences together through communication and proper, positive and loving training methods.
She was exposed to all dog breeds throughout her childhood, but did not fully understand the plight of the most bullied breed in the world, pit bull type breeds, until moving to Chicago. Pit bulls are superior in intelligence, strength and loyalty. When taught to do wrong things, they are efficient in accomplishing what they are asked or made to do to survive. Animals teach us so much and we must help save and guide them to better lives than this. Teaching important lessons through pit bulls to children is her way to give back to the breed that has changed her life in more positive ways than she could ever describe.
Randi lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her loving husband and 5 amazing pitbull mix fur children. She is a certified dog trainer, animal communicator, life coach, event producer, brand strategist and motivational speaker.

What was it like being aboard a US Navy destroyer in the 1970’s? Having spent five years aboard two of them I sat down and chronicled my experiences underway. Ports of call, meals underway, the rigors of operations, the sights, smells, and sounds of being on the “big water” are all shared with the reader. It wasn’t glamorous but it was full of excitement, adventure, and learning how to transform from directionless teen to mature adult. So cock your cover at a salty angle, hitch up your bell bottomed jeans, and prepare for the ride of your life.
Steve Tindall grew up in Syracuse, NY. After enlisting in the Navy in September 1969, he completed advanced training as a Gun Fire Control Technician in Great Lakes, Illinois. He served aboard two destroyers in the Atlantic Ocean for five years before returning to Great Lakes to teach for two additional years. Following his naval service, he worked in the data networking field, performing circuit capacity analysis and protocol interpretation until his retirement on April Fool’s Day in 2016. Since retiring, he has volunteered in various capacities to improve the lives of veterans and educate the communities he serves. His veteran-related awards include the City of Kenosha 1Q22 Hometown Hero, City of Kenosha 2022 Hometown Hero of the Year, and 1st Congressional District Veteran of the Year for 2022.

Born and raised in Wausau, Wisconsin, A.R. Grimes started writing “books” about dinosaurs in the second grade but moved on to writing fantasy after reading J. R. R. Tolkien, Madeleine L’Engle, and C. S. Lewis. She spent over twenty years trying to complete her debut novel, Wyldling Snare, and is living proof that any fool can get published nowadays. Several of her poems and short stories won awards in her alma mater Carroll University’s literary magazine (1998-2001). She is a member of SCBWI. Other than reading and writing, she enjoys singing in the church choir, listening to music, making fused glass art, drawing, daydreaming, and going on nature hikes. She is married to a martial arts enthusiast and currently lives in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. They share the house with two male offspring and two cats who—naturally—are the true overlords.
