Hi! This is Studio Moonfall’s human figurehead, Donovan Scherer. This October, smack dab in the middle of Book-o-Ween, I’ve got a roving pack of indie authors making their way to the Southport Literary Fair with the Kenosha Public Library and Blue House Books.

Blue House Books has lined all sorts of great writers for this event with panels, workshops, and everything else you could want. We’re even bringing in food trucks! I’ll be doing a panel with Mary Winn Heider on using illustrations in chapter books and graphic novels. After that, Marcia from Kenosha Public Library will even be running a workshop on helping you start your own graphic novel.
