Following a compelling phone call from an old friend, cryptozoologist Wolfgang Kilmer makes his way to the mountains of Colorado. Upon arrival, Wolf discovers that a strange shape-shifting creature may be creating havoc at the peaceful Eleven Mile Reservoir.
Tales told of a walking monster going back nearly sixty years peak the cryptozoologist’s curiosity. Strange incidents soon transpire, spelling danger eventually turning into murder.
Wolf and his friend Harry seek to unearth the terrible truth behind the killings, with the help of a grizzled mountain man and a determined fire watch tower lookout.

Debra Oas is the accomplished author behind the captivating Cryptid Mysteries series, which includes “Sinister Bay” (2019), “Whitewater Witch” (2022), and her latest release, “Mountain Walker” (2023).
