Indie Bookstore Day is Saturday, April 25th! Also, known as Kenosha Book Festival Eve!
We’ve got all sorts of good stuff going on next weekend so be sure to come visit.

The Golden Ticket – The interns have hidden the LibroFM Goldent Ticket somewhere in the shop. If you’re the one to find it, you’ll win a YEAR of free audiobooks through LibroFM, your ear’s favorite alternative to Audible. But just a word of warning, for the last couple years, the Golden Ticket hadn’t gotten snatched up in the first half hour so try to get here right away when the store opens at 11am.

Blind Date Sale – Willing to take a risk for a book you might fall in love with? The Blind Date with a Book Sale will be back all weekend. All of these mysterious books are 20% off!

Kenosha Book Festival Author Preview – Get a sneak peek at the who’s who of this year’s book festival season. Authors will be dropping in at random from 3pm to 7pm. Plus, we’ll have many of their books on display if you can’t wait to start reading.

And if you really want a headstart, be sure to join the Indie Bookstore Passport tour. We’ve got 17 bookstores throughout the region. Stop by one of them to get your passport, OR PRINT IT UP HERE, then start visiting all the shops to get your stamps. How many can you collect before the end of April?

We’re looking for volunteers to help set up and take down the Kenosha Book Festival this summer. And since I don’t know that volunteering is some kind of free(?) thing people do, you’ll get $20 in gift certificates for the shop.

Plus, you get to choice an author who is part of this year’s festivals, either your favorite or a totally random one, and they’ll get three months of book promotion through the store.

A Month for Indie Bookstores

Leading up to Chapter One of the Kenosha Book Festival on Sunday, April 26th, we’ve got all sorts of cool indie bookstore stuff going on. Come on out and get reading!

Stop by the shop and pick up your Indie Bookstore Passport, or click here for a printable version. We’ve got 17 bookshops to visit this month. The more you visit, the more chances you get for prizes. But also, you get a good excuse to visit 17 bookstores this month!

On Saturday, April 25th, we have the official Independent Bookstore Day. Come by Studio Moonfall for all sorts of extra stuff going on like:
