I was born in Oak Park, Illinois, which is one of the many things I have in common with Ernest Hemingway. OK, to be honest, it’s probably the only thing. I graduated from Wheaton North High School in Wheaton, Illinois, and from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Since that time I’ve worked for a variety of newspapers, public relations companies and marketing firms. I’ve been fortunate enough to get a few sports references books published, including one by HarperCollins, and I self-published a three-volume soft science fiction novel titled Bamboo Harvester: The Unauthorized, Unorthodox & Unbridled Biography of Mister Ed, as well as other books. All three Bamboo Harvester volumes are available on Kindle and in paperback, individually as well as in one comprehensive volume.
