Meet the Author!

Visit us on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Studio Moonfall from 4pm to 7pm to meet Fantasy/Romance Author, Miya Kressin.

Hang out at the shop and take a peek inside their book, Three of Swords:

Are you still a demigod if instead of one half, youโ€™re like one sixty-fourth god? It still counts, right? I would love to say no, that Iโ€™m just a regular guy, but as the great-great-great-grandson of Vasiliki Athanasios, herself the daughter of a god who should have kept it in his pants, I donโ€™t have that option.

Jasper Thane, demigod, fortune-teller, and missing person finder, has never been on a contracted case quite like this one. From the moment his client walked into his home, a meteor shower of curveballs have been thrown into his life. First of all, his target can see him. Can touch him. Can do way more with him. Which if he weren’t the grandson of Zeus would probably be way less concerning. He doesn’t want to be that much like his grandpa.

Stacia Collins was 3/4 of the way through a once in a lifetime vacation to Greece when she got the text that her dad was in the hospital. Of course, she caught the first flight home that she could. After a life of bouncing between foster homes and finally getting adopted as a teenager as well as having weird shrines set up outside her home, she knows nothing can ever be easy for her. And then came her dream visitor. Tall, dark-haired, and dreamy, the one-eyed man who came to her bed that night is everything she’s ever wanted in a partner.

If only the fates themselves weren’t seemingly against them. Once Jasper finds the person he’s contracted to locate, the magic will take all memory of them from him and prevent him from ever seeing them again. What seems so perfect to have brought them together is doomed to destroy their relationship.

Miya is a stay at home mother in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she lives with her husband, their three teenagers, and two rescue dogs. She loves coffee, glitter, gaming, makeup, and surprising you with what color her hair will be the next time you see her. If she’s not actively writing, she probably has dice making supplies or a knitting project nearby.

Miya was diagnosed with Lupus in early 2022 after more than a decade of seizures and other symptoms that finally got her to the right doctor. While it has caused some not insignificant setbacks in her health, she’s pushing forward and keeping her gaze on the future. She has written over 30 titles, most self-published or through indie publishers.
