Dr. Arieahn Matamonasa Bennett – Kenosha Book Festival 2024

Dr. Arieahn Matamonasa Bennett is coming to Studio Moonfall’s Kenosha Book Festival 2024 on April 28th and June 23rd.

Arieahn Matamonasa Bennett is a cross-culturally trained licensed psychologist, academic, author and international speaker. She has been working with groups and individuals for over 25 years. She teaches at DePaul University in Chicago, as well as Pacifica and Fielding graduate schools in Santa Barbara, CA. Her areas of expertise included connecting with nature and animals as aa path to well-being. Her writings and workshops center on connecting with our deep ancestral wisdom to access healing and positive change. She lives in Paris township (near Kenosha, WI) with her horses.

Here’s a sneak peek at their book Cages, Keys and the Chatelaine:

Are you a woman feeling stuck or trapped in your life?

In her own life, and with decades of experience in psychology & spirituality, Arieahn Matamonasa has discovered that when we are deeply unhappy with our lives there are common themes/patterns (cages) that keep us from the lives we truly desire.

  • Draining, dysfunctional relationships
  • Driven-behaviour and overwork
  • Self-abandonment
  • Not trusting ourselves
  • Staying in our victimhood

Transformation and change can be more difficult for women because we have been taught for generations to put others first and that our own desires and dreams are ‘selfish.’ This book turns this upside down and presents a simple process of developing self-awareness and knowledge of where and how we are stuck and the keys to freedom.

  • Recharging our energies
  • Connection to nature and our instincts
  • Using the power of our intuition as guidance
  • Creating a vision for our future

This book takes the reader on a journey to rediscover passions, dreams and visions and truly become the chatelaine – owner and mistress of our lives.
