Amy Leigh Sazama wants you to believe in hope. Her first book, Fleetwood Dreams: Climbing a Mountain After a Landslide, is a memoir of heartache and loss, but more importantly, the story of her climb back up. Amy lives in Wisconsin with her husband and daughter, where you’ll typically find her doing something outdoorsy, traveling or teaching yoga classes.
She graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Degree in Broadcast Journalism and has spent many years working as a case manager, a fitness instructor and is now a first-time author with Ten16 Press.
Amy currently works at a local gym as a Group Exercise Coordinator, where she also teaches Yoga and Pilates. For fun, she enjoys writing, trying new holistic practices, exploring new places, reading books & reviewing manuscripts for her publisher, spending time with her five-year-old daughter and dog (Charlie), and listening to interesting and motivational podcasts. She also LOVES a good documentary (who doesn’t?!), and anything that has to do with encouraging others to be their best self!
