Stephen Wertzbaugher writes supernatural and psychological horror that explores deeper spiritual conflicts; stories where sin, fear, and grief meet the possibility of grace. He explores what evil is, where redemption can be found, and how light still speaks, even in the darkest of stories.
He’s the author of Quixote and Strangled, part of the Twisted Tales of Familiar Faces collection from M4L Publishing, and Love is a Many Splendored Thing and Tremors, part of the Darkest of Dreams Volume 1 Cryptid Horror anthology, as well as Redemption, A Cassidy Kain Supernatural Thriller.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Stephen currently lives in Denver, Colorado, with his wife, and within spitting distance of their three adult children and two grandchildren. When he’s not writing, Stephen enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and fishing, and telling terrible dad jokes, and, despite everything he knows, he still checks under the bed before turning out the lights.
