Kasey Kubica

Kasey always knew she wanted to be a writer, and despite a college fiction writing professor telling her to stop being so creative and stick to the rules, she carried on with her dreams to be a published author, and achieved it in 2010 with the release of “Swine and Cheese.” Books to follow were the romance novels “Proof,” “Ignite,” “Abroad,” and “Binge,” and most recently, the supernatural thriller that took thirteen years to curate, “Woebegone.”

Raised in Hawaii, college in Seattle, a short stint in a rural Nevada town, then bumbling back to live in the vibrantly green boonies of western Washington state, and now finally back in that little desert oasis, Kasey finds pleasure in saying “I’m currently writing a book,” reading, embroidery, cooking, baking, and spending time with her partner of nearly seventeen years. But because none of that pays the bills (more’s the pity), she pursued freelance copyediting and has found success over the last four years helping other indie authors achieve their dreams.
